This discovery research is an opportunity to research the economic development of major energy producing countries.

1. Conduct a literature review and then share your discoveries in the discussion. Let the discussion scope guide  your discovery research. You are required to have at least three resources.

1. Identify the Asian country which is most endowed in resources and explain how these resources have contributed to their sustainable development.

2. Take on the role of a consultant and give some recommendations to the economic development leaders of your chosen country to continue to better manage their economic development.

Harrison Ford Learns How Palm Oil Is Linked to Deforestation

Asia is the world largest continent, covering roughly 30 percent of the Earth’s land area. It is also the world’s most populous continent, with about 60 percent of the total population. Its stake in world markets has grown dramatically in the last half-century. Literature reviews show that Asian countries rank as some of the top producers of many agricultural, forest, fishing, mining, and industrial products. This improved production has brought both extreme prosperity and negative environmental impacts to the continent.

Conduct your own research to explore the natural resources found in Asia.
